On How It All Connects
This plugin will allow your users to place a hyperlinked image to your signup page in their widgetized sidebars.
The code and some sample images are available here: http://www.hadithuna.com/sitewide/empowered.zip
Also included in the pack is my hack of the MyCSS plugin, which enables MU Site Admins to put custom CSS in all of the blogs on their site. Useful if you want to align the signup badge in the center of the sidebar on every blog.
The hack of the MyCSS plugin has been configured to allow modification only by Site Admins, and will appear under the “Presentation” tab when logged in as admin.
I’ve also configured the widget to look in the /wpmu-site/sitewide/ folder, which is a folder where I have turned off .htaccess rewrites and generally store my sitewide content, though I’m sure this would be easily configured to point elsewhere.
To install the plugin drop the empowered.php file into your widgets folder, and the MyCSS hack goes into your mu-plugins folder. Anyways, that’s enough from me, I hope you enjoy this plugin. You can leave any questions or comments below.
